Our History

DynamX Physical Therapy's parent company is Interstate Rehab, the premier provider to acute care hospitals and outpatient rehab clinics.  DynamX Physical Therapy is committed to giving our patients the best Physical Therapy services southern California has to offer.  DynamX Physical Therapy covers a range of treatment for orthopedic injuries, pre and post surgical joint, neck and back pain, arthritis, sports conditions, osteoporosis, and more. At DynamX Physical Therapy, we are dedicated to achieving your recovery goals.

Our Mission

DynamX Physical Therapy clinics provide one on one quality physical
therapy and movement analysis in the greater southern California area.
The physical therapist’s training in Applied Functional Science™ will
give each patient a new individualized comprehensive approach to their
rehabilitation, fitness, and personal health. The DynamX approach will
be shared with patients, the community, and community partners to
enhance wellness, injury prevention, and movement education.

Benjamin Butts, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS

Regional Director

Ben Butts is the Regional Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services for Interstate Rehab and DynamX Therapy. Prior to that, he was director of Rehabilitation Services at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. A board-certified orthopedic and sports specialist, Ben also is a frequent lecturer at California State University, Long Beach. Ben has worked with post operative patients referred from the top orthopaedic surgeons in Los Angeles and Orange County including Kerlan-Jobe, Santa Monica Orthopaedic Group, Cedars Sinai, Marina Spine Center, USC, UCLA, SCOI, and many more. Ben received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from California State University, Long Beach. He also received a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California, and was one of the first graduates of the University’s Sports Residency Program. During the residency program, he served as the team physical therapist for the L.A. Sparks and West L.A. Junior College.

Carly Harris, PT, DPT, FAFS

Physical Therapist The "Running and Track" PT

Carly Harris is a physical therapist at DynamX Physical Therapy. Carly received both her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and kinesiology and doctorate of physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach. She was a student athlete who competed in track and field cross country, steeple chase and the 5k. After graduation, she was assistant coach for the California State University, Long Beach track and field program for over a year. Her areas of clinical experience include orthopedic and sports physical therapy treating total joint replacements, and lower extremity injuries. She completed a 12-week internship at Casa Colina in the Transitional Living Center for stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury patients. She completed the fellowship in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute, which honed her skills in biomechanical movement analysis and allows her to create functional exercise programs for patients of all skill levels.

Nicholas Cutri PT, DPT, FAFS, CSCS

Clinic Manager The "Dance, Skateboarding, and Golf" PT

Nicholas Cutri is a physical therapist at DynamX Physical Therapy. A practitioner of functional physical therapy, Nicholas completed the fellowship program in Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute. He applies his knowledge of functional biomechanics to the treatment of all orthopedic conditions, both post-surgical and non-surgical. Nick received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from San Diego State University and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has extensive experience treating amateur and professional athletes, and dancers. One of Nick's passions is working with golfers of all levels, and he holds a Nike Golf Performance Specialist Accreditation through the Gray Institute.
